    Drives a diesel like a gas engine and can't understand why it breaks....geez. Then revs it like a gas after it's broke. Guess it's common, if pathetic. Couldn't pay me to own Navistar (13-letter shit-spreader), not happy with what Cummins has done compared to their big-truck engines (love me an N14), but still worlds better. And Dura-Max is the best of the bunch, if not most powerful of the bunch (though I would wager it has more headroom to be turned up). Not even a Ford/GM/Ram thing to me, all about the engine manufacturer.

    2010 is the last year for it, and was replaced with the 392s in '11 FYI bud. Yep it was only made for 3 years, and is a darn good engine. Is what I've got in my Challenger, and is also a 2010 and like the 6.1 best out of them because it's more simple and handle boost better than the 6.4. I've also got a diablo for it and run torco race fuel, which is manufactured in Apache Junction AZ not far from us

    What a crock.... stock compression pistons, and wimp cam with no duration....but it has 680 lift....big deal ,no duration no max power...No wonder this engine never hit close to 620 hp If that cam had a duration of 290 to 312 degrees in a split pattern this motor would have been awesome...HIGHER compression pistons would have enhanced power as well. If this was a budget build, cams don't cost that much more for a better one..They built this wimp motor to compete with a chevy 454 for a dyno shootout and of course the chevy won. When you are going for over 600 hp you can't say you are worried about streetability since 600+ hp is a race motor. I got more power from a 351w stroked to 408ci with a 310/312 duration 680 lift hydraulic roller and 11:1 pistons, TFS twisted wedge heads hurricane intake in a dominator style hi rise intake, comp cams steel magnum rollers, 2 1/2 headers, holly 830 cfm dominator and MSD ignition 3400 lb car at 11.16 in the quarter at 128mph that calculates around 668 hp at the crank, in a 1987 mustang with full length 3 in exhaust with mufflers and it was still driven on the street. So in short this 460 build is a Joke...

    Never hook your winch cable back to itself, which creates a kink, and from there a weak point. Use a strap to loop trees, and then hook to the strap. Bare cable will damage live trees as well. Only metal anchor points should be direct hooked to. Also, the " 'Binder " nick name isn't derived from something the heavy IH drivers used often to refer to other IH rigs, it was more in reference to the IH "Light Line", which were it's 1 ton and under vehicles (Travelall's, Scouts, and pickup trucks). IH offered these because they knew as long as they had a farmer in the dealership to spend 3/4 of a million dollars on ag equipment, you could probably also sell them a runabout vehicle for $10 grand to use in the fields while you were bringing your crops in. Also, while the salesman was selling you your ag equipment and a light truck, they were selling your wife a refrigerator and chest freezer. They even had some IH branded books and toys to keep your kids busy. 'Binder is shortened up from the phrase Corn Binder, which referenced the corn stalks that would get wrapped around your drivelines and axles while you were running back and forth in your corn fields during harvest. IH eventually got sick of the tight profit margins on the Light Line (Figuring why should they go to the effort to manufacture a $10K vehicle for $700 net profit, when they could focus on making $750,000 combine harvesters that net them $100,000 in profit. They didn't even want to be bothered with making $10,000 profit for a $90,000 tractor trailer rig, and subcontracted that out to Navistar International.) They retired all Light Line vehicles in late 1980 or early '81, saying they cared to leave the heavy competition in that field to the Big Three automakers.

    Y'all gonna want to put some POR15 , chassis saver, clear coat, paint, fluid film on that cut fender. Don't forget to blow out as many of those steel shaving from cutting as possible, because they get flung all over inside the panels and they will rust & will transfer to the panel its sitting on. Really just BLAST in all the nooks with fluid film..plus it's natural. Lanolin based. Believe the navy used it on ship hulls. Maybe they still do
